DFA Overview

Envision Digital/Fine Arts is the arts program at CCA. The program prides itself in teaching students how to be creative thinkers. D/FA Arts courses provide students with a strong foundation in art history as well as the elements and principles of art. The program aims to graduate artists with a broad range of artistic skills and understanding as well as the ability to collaborate within a group.

Envision - Day Courses

All "Envision" courses are unique in that curriculum is supplemented by teaching artists. All courses in Envision Digital/Fine Arts emphasize a strong connection between digital media and traditional media and techniques. All courses in Envision Digital/Fine Arts are built on the foundations that students receive in Drawing and Design, which is a prequisite course for most Envision D/FA courses. To learn more about our Envision day courses, browse the links to the course descriptions and course websites at Envision D/FA Day Courses.

Envision - Conservatory

Digital/Fine Arts Conservatory, a branch of the Envision program, is an after-school arts program in which students earn credit on a Pass/Fail basis. Ideally students join Conservatory their sophmore year and progress through the curriculum for the following three years. The D/FA Conservatory is divided into THREE LEVELS, each usually taking a different set of classes. Classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30. Students are admitted to the program under a 3 pronged application process. To learn more about the Envision Conservatory, please go to Envision D/FA Conservatory Courses.
